Beyond the visit

Abide & Nourish™

Abide in Christ as you nourish your little ones.

Motherhood is a beautiful calling, but it can also be a season of uncertainty, exhaustion, and unexpected challenges. In the quiet moments of feeding your baby, the long nights, and the days when you wonder whether you're doing enough, I want to gently remind you that you are not walking this journey alone.

Abide & Nourish™ was created from my desire to encourage mothers to remain rooted in Christ while caring for their little ones.

Just as you faithfully nourish and nurture your children, my prayer is that you will also find nourishment for your own heart through God's Word, His promises, and the peace that comes from abiding in Him.

Through Scripture, prayer, biblical encouragement, and reflections on motherhood, Abide & Nourish offers a quiet place to be reminded of God's faithfulness in every season.

Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, soothing a newborn, or navigating the toddler years, my heart is to encourage you through the beautiful and sometimes difficult moments of motherhood.

You do not have to have all the answers. You do not have to be a perfect mother. Your worth is not measured by how your baby feeds, how much you accomplish, or how smoothly your days unfold.

Your identity is found in Christ, and His grace is sufficient for you.

Abide & Nourish is an invitation for mothers who desire Christ-centered encouragement. Every mother is welcome and valued, regardless of her beliefs or circumstances.

Abide in Christ

“Abide in me, and I in you.”

John 15:4 (ESV)

As mothers, we spend so much of ourselves caring for our little ones. We nourish, comfort, protect, and give of ourselves day after day. Yet in the midst of caring for everyone else, our own hearts need nourishment, too.

Jesus invites us to abide in Him - to remain close, rooted in His Word, and dependent on His strength. Abiding isn't another task to accomplish or another expectation to meet. It's an invitation to draw near to Christ, to trust in His faithfulness, and to find our strength in Him.

As you nourish your little ones, remember to nourish your own heart by abiding in Christ.

Gently Led

“He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”

Isaiah 40:11 (ESV)

Just as a shepherd tenderly cares for his flock, God meets mothers with gentleness and compassion. In the beautiful, stretching, and sometimes uncertain seasons of motherhood, we can trust Him to lead us with care.

Rest for the Weary

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28 (ESV)

There are days in motherhood when you're running on little sleep, giving all you have, and wondering how you'll find the strength for tomorrow.

Jesus doesn't ask you to carry every burden alone. He invites you to come to Him, just as you are, and find rest in His presence.

You can bring Him your weariness, your worries, and your hopes, trusting that His grace will meet you there.

New Mercies Every Morning

“…his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:22–23 (ESV)

Motherhood gives us countless opportunities to begin again.

Some days we respond with patience and gentleness. Other days, exhaustion gets the better of us. We lose our patience, question our decisions, or wish we could start the day over.

But what a beautiful promise we have in God's Word: His mercies are new every morning.

Yesterday's struggles do not have to define today. We can come before Him with our weariness, our shortcomings, and our hopes, trusting in His unfailing faithfulness.

Each new morning is another opportunity to receive His grace, love our little ones, and begin again.

You don't have to be a perfect mother. You have a faithful God.

Because He Cares for You

“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7 (ESV)

Motherhood can bring worries we never anticipated. We wonder whether we're making the right decisions, whether our little ones are thriving, and whether we're doing enough.

Sometimes those worries follow us into the quiet hours of the night, when the house is still but our minds are not.

Yet Scripture gently reminds us that we can bring every concern before our Heavenly Father. He knows our hearts, sees our struggles, and cares deeply for us.

“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.”

— Corrie ten Boom

As you care for your little ones, remember that you, too, are cared for. You don't have to carry tomorrow's worries today.

A Place to Be Still

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

There's something about the quiet of a forest that invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be still.

In the midst of motherhood's beautiful and demanding days, I hope Abide & Nourish offers a little of that same peacefulness - a place to pause, turn our hearts toward Christ, and remember that our rest is found in Him.

“As you spend your days holding, comforting, and nourishing your little ones, remember that you, too, are held.”

— Abide & Nourish

Nourishing little ones. Encouraging mothers. Abiding in Christ.
